Sorry, you're right. This board is definitely better than the last, and I'm all for supporting it. I just wanted to make suggestions, not to take away from what they've done.

Thanks for all the effort to the admins and designers. But honestly, the layout of this forum for whatever reason makes me not want to read through for an extended period of time.

My eyes get tired just looking at the text.

1) Background should be dark to not clash with the thread windows
2) Text should be smaller
3) Quotes should be in a boxed darker grey

Can we literally just copy the code/layout from RF please? IT WAS EXTREMELY EASY TO READ.

Cheers

Yeah, I really do like this layout now, but I agree with the quotes, boxes need to be grey or something

We are trying to get a different shade for the quotes. We hear you, and we feel the same.

Yeah I just saw that. Thanks

I was thinking it had to do with the email option below that.

Down in the post box in the top left corner there is an option to change the font size for your posts. Though I don't think you can change the size for posts made by other members, as I believe it is set at a 12pt font.

A quick fix for the quotes is to apply some additional styles to .quote and .quote_body

e.g.

.quote {
  border-bottom: 5px solid #777;
}

.qoute_body {
  background: #eeeffff;
}

Thanks for the tip.

Got the border to work, but not the colour for some reason.
