I had the exact opposite reaction when i first saw it...i'm predicting about 5 episodes of navel gazing and people walking down the same empty roads...then a herd of zombies
Same thing for the second half

The new show on the other hand looks interesting imho...i'll be checking that one out for sure

Not surprising, you made your mind up about the WD a long time ago.

The new show won't be that different once the infection takes place imo. I can't wait for both. Can't wait to see Morgan vs Rick.

Yeah, I'm enjoying this season's True Detective as well. A lot of other people haven't though, for some reason. I guess they keep comparing it to the first season's brilliance, even though season one started off slow too.

Watched a few episodes of bloodlines on Netflix and then had to put everything else on the back burner. Really good show.

EDIT:  watched the end of Bloodline last night - actor who played Danny was great.  Kind of like most new TV shows I wish they weren't doing a second season.

Better Call Saul is probably my favorite show right now. The story, writing and actors are all awesome.

Tyrant is another good one. Very original idea, which I like.

A guilt pleasure of mine is the Family Feud.  I think Steve Harvey has the greatest job in the world.
