When Lowry was a FA, you said you had inside knowledge that he didn't like Casey and that we should all expect him to sign elsewhere. This was three years ago (well four now). You also claimed to have inside knowledge on how contracts were negotiated in the NBA, which was obviously incorrect.

elT does owe up to his mistakes or when he's wrong. In addition, some of his stuff is an act. Don't take everything he posts so seriously.

Inside knowledge of contract negotiations? You have mistaken me for someone else.

Doesn’t matter. I’m in party mode knowing the raptors will get smarter after today. We’re free from 80’s slacks and behind the woodshed talk.

I'm sure you are and probably counting down the days when Lowry gets traded.

The aforementioned discussion happened before we migrated to this site.

BTW, I don't understand why you have personal beefs with individuals within the organization. It's like they constantly stole your lunch money (it's a figure of speech to say a lot of your issues with certain individual seem more personal than merely basketball oriented, but this might just be your delivery. Then again, you've started rumours or implied a lot of things, such as Casey and Lowry fighting and not seeing eye-to-eye and other stuff).

I agree. Casey can be a great assistant. Great motivator and gets good effort out of his guys. That is why he was a solid defensive coach on a championship squad.

Flat out his Xs, Os, strategies, matchups and feel for the game are way below par. In the playoffs those things are under a much bigger microscope as most teams are going to now match your effort and that alone wont be enough to win games.

Casey was so slow to come around to the new age of NBA offense. This year was the first year we attempted it and even without the perfect personnel (we lack consistent 3 point shooting) it was a marked improvement from the jump. I dont praise him for doing something now that should have been done 2 or 3 years ago. With Carroll, Ross, Tucker, Patty playing this style we would have been better than, too. Especially Ross.
