He's probably out at least 6 to 8 weeks. He'll really have to strengthen the muscles around his shoulder to prevent another separation (I say this from personal experience).

8? That's seems doubtful, my guess is 4-6 weeks. This injury varies greatly and if they say 4 weeks, my guess is that he'll start strength conditioning before the four week mark.

He's surely had some benefit built-in from rehabbing previously and likely working to strengthen those muscles. So why not 4? Great news.
