Bruce Bowen said Kawhi is the best player in the world while filling in for Jalen on Jalen and Jacoby. He also talked about the inexperience of the Sixers ultimately costing them.

I was surprised at how quiet Jimmy Butler was yesterday. He didn't really assert himself until the 4th Quarter, but even then he was uneven. I expected him to make a huge impact, but he, too, seemed a bit overwhelmed by the stakes.

he was defended by kawhi from the get-go, kawhi has that ability. Was listening to a podcast today, lowe was saying that according to the nba's tracking date, kawhi has defended Giannis on 31 possesions this year, and Giannis had only 3 shot attempts 😉

Good stuff! And yeah, Leonard did a great job on Butler yesterday, but at the same time Butler was really passive.

if you recall, during the regular season, a lot of times people just didn't bother attacking leonard - he really has that effect on people. Later in the season, it wasn't as obvious, but early on - you could see even very good offensive players basically punt.

It kind of makes sense, almost everything else is a better scoring chance than attacking leonard directly.

Deadspin provides some close-ups of the iconic moment, although one comment is a bit of a low-blow (the last one, as the guy might have a disability which would explain why he's looking up at the screen at halfcourt).
