Maybe Drake should point the mic at the guy he is interviewing

And now Michael Grange just walks into frame like a donkey during the Matt and leo post game segment.  Sportsnet looking like amateur hour tonight.

Jozy Altidore! Pure heart.

I did manage to see a lot of the play from the starters. Didn't get to see the bench much aside from a nice stretch with Siakam.

Damn Bebe has the calves of Bargnani. I hope he doesn't miss much time.

Starting to feel like Lowry could have a very special year. He's becoming an elite shooter. Just gotta maintain that form.

I was waiting for someone to hate on their decision to let Drake take over and wing the rest of the broadcast.

Who cares? I'm sure more people were either indifferent or enjoyed it vs those that disliked it.

It's one night of something different. The broadcasts will move on (back to normal). So should your opinion of tonight's coverage.

i actually like drake as a raps celebrity and am fine with him being involved in broadcasts.  but to hold the mic to your own mouth while your interviewee is talking is straight amateur hour for a guy that has spent so much time in the spotlight.

I laughed and told my wife it’s because he’s not used to sharing the spotlight with someone else [cookiemonster]

Drake is awesome.  Has a great sense of humor and is humble. Look at the whole lint roller thing.

I dont listen to his music but I appreciate his celebrity.

He is doing all that you would want.  Adding his touch without being overbearing or demanding.

Drake FTW!!

FVV is just fun to watch. How he drives and starts the ball movement is such a thing of beauty. Makes me wonder...is Delon expendable? If we're still looking to get Marc Gasol...JV+BeBe+Wright+2nd rounder should do it. They need a little insurance for Conley's Achilles. Or Maybe the same trade for DeAndre Jordan.

drake was straight up drunk, i think!

To be honest, a few here have kinda chilled me out on it, at the time, i thought it was pretty wack. It was a close game and they were barely calling the action! If a hornets or neutral fan were watching our broadcast, i think they woulda been like "what the hell is this?!" But yeah, whatever i guess...

TBH I like the team the way it is though Marc would be great - for a decent price of course.  Delon isn't expendable imho for a couple reasons - 1) injuries - just so happens that he's the one injured but the team still has 2 solid guards 2) long term I believe Delon projects to be the better player - at least on defense especially at 6'5" with those long arms.

As for expendable, if anyone has become a "little" bit more expendable would be Powell and that's only because of OG - though Powell has been great on the 2nd unit.

Really, the team is a solid 2 deep at the 2-3-4 and 3 deep at the 1-5, something which the Raps have never been able to say before.  The team also boasts the best home record, the 3rd best offense AND 3rd best net rating in the league - and really, we're talking about tweaking the defense and defense becomes better with more time together on the floor.   I would really much prefer more time given to this group in this new system (which is only 20 games into the season) before any big moves.

I agree that more time together will benefit the team. 20 games is nothing and we won't see the true results before playoffs. Just hoping the health is there. Gasol would be a great fit but if the price is more than JV + fillers I'd stay away. Still have to keep in mind the long term future.

I thought it was great but could not believe the crew allowed him on so long. I think Devlin gets tired talking to Leo * (who wouldn't) . Leos analysis that Poeltl  should back up  2 feet from Howard when he was already in the box and 4 feet from hoop... Great lines about trailblazing bathroom break and putting Devlins mug on his new home court. When was the last time Kyle hugged an interviewer, huh.[thumb]
