I don't man. You tend to teeter towards the negative when it comes to the Raptors even when things are going well. You also treat things in absolutes (see the Powell discussion).

Senile might be the more accurate adjective. 😉

Too many turnovers, but a good number of assists, and good defense, especially off the dribble and in the paint and on the boards. Gave up too many open looks from distance.

Should have had 30 assists. Needed to play a bit crisper, but didn't fold under a ton of pressure. Good to see Lowry recovering some usefulness after being a pure liability last game. Hopefully that ass heals up some more. And hopefully they get settled in at home a bit now and take advantage of the chance to tighten things up.

Perhaps it just seems that way, because often fans tend to be hyper-optimistic about things.

Remember, I called us to win the east before the season, and I praised both the team and many of our players extensively. So I am far from negative, but maybe a long experience as a raptors fan made me too skeptical at times.

As for Powell, he sucks right now. There is nothing absolute about this statement - it's plain fact. If he continues to play like this, he will be very difficult to trade. At no point did I say that Powell is forever going to suck. Quite the opposite, he has talent and could very well become a steal down the road. But there's also the non-negligible chance that he won't. Given his age, and especially given the progress of the other guys in the rotation, he may not have a ton of time to do it.

How did we go from Powell is untouchable in the pre season, to he is untradable.
Come on now, breathe..

Not to mention that he's been ok the last few games.

Ugh, that was fugly. Good win tho...

The good thing (prefaced by a bad thing,) we totally let detroit decide the style and tempo of the game, and still won...

That was some of the best trapping of DD i've seen,. Yeah he coulda been better on a few of them, but fair play to detroit, that, and their D in general was impressive.
