I'd rather give Meeks 10mpg in the playoffs over Lin

No doubt about that. He may find himself out of the league next season or fighting for 10 day contracts if he can’t get his shit together.
Extremely underwhelmed with him to say the least.

It might be safe to say he possibly hurt his stock by leaving a good situation in Atlanta, no?

Wow. Another thumb injury for the Raptors. Their 4th of the season. This time it's Danny Green, who shot 7-10 from 3 tonight but jammed his left thumb sometime in the 3rd. X-rays were negative and he'll be reevaluated tomorrow.

@JLew1050
Nurse said Green actually jammed his thumb in the 1st quarter. It obviously didn't affect his shooting. He's headed for an MRI now.

That defence was a thing of beauty, surpassed only by Green’s shooting. Let’s hope his thumb is still more or less OK once the adrenaline wears off.

oh ffs. #loadmgmt

If he jammed his thumb in the 1st Q why the hell pushing it. Sit him for the rest of this damn meaningless game!
I had jammed fingers and knee in the past. It can definitely linger for a long time.

He should have stayed there and we should have kept Delon. Who cares if Delon wanted more playing time elsewhere?
Delon looks likes a superstar compared to Lin and he used to get me frustrated at times but Lin is not even a G-leaguer at atm.

Jeff started losing a little bit of hair in his 30s, stood in front of the mirror and said "This one is over, all my hair is gone". Needless to say, he never lost a single hair again and has donated enough hair to make 4263 wigs since then.

Just watching this morning. Gasol opens up and exploits so many advantages while nullifying so much for opposing teams. And what makes me happiest is that he ensures that defense bleeds into offensive output and that the solid offensive execution serves the defense well. I’ve wanted to see that happen forever. They made great headway before Gasol arrived, and now he cements it to the point where it’s almost not even noticeable. No more going cold and staying in games through excerting themselves so much defensively that there’s no more energy to score well. No more getting hot on offense and seeing that as an opportunity to save a little energy on defense. Now they are simply a machine. And Gasol is such a great, smart cog among so many great, smart two way players.

It took me some time to get as emotionally invested in this version of the team over last season’s. Gasol has made it extremely easy to have deeper feelings then I had a year ago.

Just have to say this, with no slight intended, but getting gasol was THE trade of the season. He's going to be awesome for us in the playoffs.

This thread reads like Jack and Matt calling the game.  Talking about everything except the game.

It's funny, because the trade unleashed JV as well, which I'm very happy for. Would be good for him to have a full season playing 35 mpg, especially on a rebuilding team where he gets more slack and more time to figure things.

For all the sadness, this trade could transform his career and make him a boatload of extra cash.

Lin's been a backup's backup for some time now. Not even surprised at his numbers.

He might be good for ticket sales though.
