Bwahahaha. I'll take it. Shittiest game in a while. Pretty much everyone on Raptors was bad most of the time but Powell and FVV carried most of the load while rest of the team just did barely enough to not lose.

Let's just forget this one ASAP. Gasol in particular. He was unrecognizable, step slow, half drunk, half hungover.

A win is a win is a win, especially in playoffs. Chance to play better in the future.

It really wasnt that bad. BKN is a scrappy team and they do have some good players. Not enought to really challenge Raps in 7 game series, but enough to make games interesting.

This is just bad matchup for Gasol. I dont think he will be doing much in this series. Nurse only played him for 17mins which I think was a good decision, since he isnt bringing anything to this series. He could still be very important against other opponents.

Good game from Powell. And decent from Lowry and FVV despite bad shooting. OG and Ibaka were quiet.

Nah man, it was horrible, you are just enjoying the early starts and not having to stay up until dawn. 😉

Surprised Davis didn't play today

Boucher would kill it in this series imo.

I think we got a bit lucky that allen ran out of gas in the last few minutes and we were able to attack the basket fairly easily.

Glad we somehow found a way to win.  Powell, Freddy, and Lowry’s will pulled us over the hump.  Was nice to see Siakam make a couple of key stops but offensively he was lost in the second half.

If Gasol didn’t have his history as a baller ... we would all be saying why is this guy on the floor.  Didn’t play like a vet ... the match up sucks but he was a liability on both ends.  History says he will contribute but Boucher will get some minutes if this continues.

Glad to see Thomas get some minutes ... he’s shown balance in his play always being in control and seeing the floor and getting others to contribute.

Nurse made some nice adjustments with the lineup in the fourth

Nets' Harris leaves NBA campus for personal matter

Woah, without Harris they are super thin on viable rotations.

This was a nice win considering the three wasn’t there for them. They kept LeVert pretty much contained and eventually the turnovers added up. Toronto did a real nice job limiting their own turnovers the final three quarters. Normy once again is the magical adjustment that never fails.

Gotta hand it to the Nets for having a decent gameplan and playing together very well. It helps them to have zero pressure probably, and no crowd. If the games were 40 minutes they would have a chance, small but a chance. Gasol not able to get his game together at all really takes a lot of fun out of it. Kyle was again in the middle of everything always though, and that keeps shit interesting enough beyond the closeness of the game. And i want Kyle’s shoes!

I think so too - would be an interesting match-up between him and Allen.

Kinda hard to say Marc doesn’t belong in this series after he was a +22 partway through the first half of game 1 before the entire team checked out for the rest of the game and coasted to the easy win. They just weren’t prepared for the switching defence. They’ll be ready next game.  And Marc also just had a bad time with the refs and got frustrated. Won’t happen again.
