I like that Clippers team. Nice game from them. I have to laugh at how Clippers fans enjoy the fan-cam during breaks more than anyone in the league. Like stardom will not elude them now.

What I am loving from the Raptors is they are giving us exactly what I was looking for when Nurse got hired. The last few years they would play strong defense but fail to hit shots, then hit shots but let up a bit on defense. Now it looks like they can simply execute on both ends for five to ten minutes per game and pretty much put games away. They fully convert on their strong two-way play. It’s beautiful to behold, and shows real growth beyond the simple influx of talent with Leonard and Green.

yeah, I like the clippers too - I was expecting them to be good last season too, but injuries and then the trade derailed them. They are very deep and tobias harris is quite good. People fawn over tatum, but harris is a very similar player who is much better (at least for now) and gets little recognition. Tatum is young, so I get that he's the new kid on the block, but Harris has been very good for the clippers.

they played on the road at boston, Portland, gsw and clippers - and only the Portland game was a doozy.

I am curious to see how their game keeps up though, they shot the 3 insanely well so far. If it's luck, they will definitely come down to earth. If it's a result of their new offense, they will remain very tough moving forward.

They are shooting with a lot of confidence. And the offense is helping them to do so. Last season guys had to watch Giannis through whole quarters of play before getting a shot themselves. There is a lot more flow now, with nobody getting ignored for long stretches. I think there will be the ability to gameplan for them better as the season carries on. They’ve tended to be better at getting games played to their advantage thus far. Not sure that can last.

I’ve never thought that much of Tobias, but he has a great fit right now. They look a lot like the Raptors after the Sacramento trade. And yeah - I expected much the same last season. Losing Beverley really hurt. Kinda went downhill from there.
