Good to be able to rest the starters in the 4th quarter with an early Sunday game coming.

OG hurt, going to the locker room. I hope it's not his right knee

That team was off. 6th in defensive rating.

Excellent win. Amazing job stopping all of Portland role players and making it tough on their stars while playing really good on offense and taking advantage of open threes. Great job. DDR might be out of his slump, hopefully! Loved the energy and effort in first half and professional lead maintenance in second.

Portland shot a better percentage. They hit on 50.7%. But Toronto had 22 more shots. They had one shy of 100 attempts. And 19-40 on threes. Oh if only we had shooters.

The pace was too much for the Blazers. Especially early. Lowry playing at that pace with that kind of focus is just deadly. And DeMar left to then play his game where everything still feels slowed down. Too much.

The Blazers have 5 second chance points in two full games against the Raptors. Just crazy.

Anyway, that feels like the formula. Go hard with pace and make some key defensive plays along the way. That play early where Kyle zinged the ball upcourt and they found Fred in the corner. The passing overall. Brilliant. If we can see Kyle leading the way like he did tonight, and not in a way where it's all him doing the lifting, but truly leading the way, putting energy into the ball, and letting everyone feed off that, then good things will happen. And the great thing is that is exactly what all the changes have been designed to accomplish. And Fred looks to be following right in his wake.

And I can't say enough about Jonas getting up and down the court. He kept up nicely with Gortat last night and comes back and fits right into the zingzingzing. This was a guy that struggled to get up and down the court with a much slower pace on rest. Just a revelation.

Just got home from work, glad i missed this atrocity of compiled Blazer efforts. This looks like a serious Raptor beatdown on the stat sheet. Portland only forced 6 turnovers? Have it your way Toronto. Pressure defense does not exsist in this dojo, does it? Aminu only took 1 shot? Gosh darn ballhogs on the Blazers, pass Farooq the rock! Portland's dynamo backup PG got schooled by VanFleet 16-1. Evan Turner posted a -23.... that's it... I'm out.... {insultive swear words}(not directed towards Toronto)

BTW, totally giving all the credit for the amazing win to our main man Toby for making the best game thread of the season. I'm convinced his excellent scouting report was a major contribution to the impressive performance.

Appreciate the compliments folks. Just wish my team put up more of a challenge, and didn't play like practice dummies. But hey, with all that extended garbage time, you guys got a taste of what Meyers Leonard can do. Let's make a deal eh? Noah Vonleh perhaps?
