I'm saying you temper your expectations with negativity so you're not disappointed if it actually happens 😉

Curious about the seedings...IF Detroit/Casey feel they can beat the Raptors a la the regular season, I wonder if they'll maneuver themselves to fall into the 7th seed (they'd also avoid a first round match up with Philly, whom they've not faired well against).  If I'm Detroit, that's what I would seriously consider doing.

I really enjoyed the live action.

Siakam is just unbelievable. The refinement in his game has gone so far beyond the simple advantages offered by his athleticism.

Leonard was more consistently explosive than I realized. His smooth easy play hides a lot of that, but he gets such a nice edge with his quickness.

The offense is so good. And the defense was great when they needed to be. I swear they engineered the game to either be an easy win if Charlotte bricked enough threes, or a game where they would need to execute down the stretch. Kyle did not barely move on defense. It was regular season Lebron defense where he parked his ass just outside of the paint. It looked like it was completely part of the gameplan, giving the other four guys an extra challenge and conserving Kyle’s ankle. In the meantime he got into a little bit of gameshape and found a little bit of rhythm. The whole thing was a well thought out excercise that did not lack seriousness at all (Nurse was really into it) but the final outcome was much less important than a whole lot of other stuff. In the end they did a really nice job on Kemba while the no names that were all about playing pressure free and wanting to impress took full advantage of there being no gameplan against them. The first and fourth quarters were surgical. Norm showed really well and probably edged ahead in the playoff rotation scenario for the time being. Gasol is getting a better feel for where he fits and what he needs to do, and Serge is looking like he can handle the new role. And it looked like it was over when that dumb shot swooshed through. Good thing the final outcome was not a major imperative. They should feel mostly pretty good about this one.

The NBA as a whole was 5-of-311 on 48-footers before that Jeremy Lamb make.

For the NBA,that would be a scenario that would drum up some talk for sure.
As for Casey or the Organization,it would not be a gamble I would want to take.
They would have a little edge psychologically with the season sweep, but other then that,I cant see Casey being a big factor.

I doubt they have that luxury 😉 Their playoff spot is far from assured - they are two games up on Orlando, and they have a head to head against them.

I don't see us bulldozing Detroit. I think our fans being in their building gets them going. Also, the close proximity makes this a more exciting series. And then there is the Casey factor, I believe they will go all out to try to get that series.

It should be a 5 game series but I forsee 2-3 really tight games.

sure - could happen. If this team plays like I hope they will, should be a 4 game sweep though.

However, I could also see nurse managing their minutes in the first round, we'll probably make use of a deep bench in the first round.

I’m not even mad nor disappointed. The Raptors didn’t deserve it. Yeah, super lucky shot by Lamb but that’s not the full story. Last Leonard iso was so stupid it’s not even funny with the lack of ball movement that is happening with the team and they’re playing .500 basketball, no surprises there.

They better get their stuff together and they have 8 games to do so or this is going to be a 2nd round exit.
