Not tonight guys, not tonight. But soon, unless we start playing some D. Winning in San Antonio won't happen with this kind of performance.

Closing thought, is there any clothing item more useless than a tie???

Just keep winning. Tied for second now. Gotta love all the talking shit out. Very physical game inside without a lot of calls, which helped the Knicks a bit, but also helped the Raptors enough.

I liked that Nurse got OG into the game down the stretch. He came through on both ends. Just keeping him moving forward in small steps is important with a young guy that can get lost in the shuffle.

Norm is pretty good. That whole bench has so many guys that can take on the ballhandling duties. From Rondae to Terrence to Norm. Even Serge had a go at driving all the way to the basket on the break - almost worked out. Just loving how everything is slowly coming together as they head towards the AS break with a chance to put a lot of wins together.

Glad we won even when a few of our starters are coasting out there.

I’m surprised that Nurse isn’t giving Thomas and Boucher some burn against the Knicks ... especially when Siakam is coasting and the Lowry FVV line-up isn’t getting the job done.  Would love to see Thomas playing the 2 at least 10 minutes per game to see what we have ... maybe he’s in Nurse dog house.

Boucher could get a few minutes at the 4 as a disruptive force when the starters coast .. I miss the crazy effort

I missed the game, but I have a question - how did Ibaka get 0 rebounds in 20 minutes?

By not getting a rebound.......just a guess. 🤷‍♂️

That was embarassing for NBA on so many levels. The Knicks are so bad they shouldnt be allowed in the league. The refs in this game were worse than the Knicks. And I'm not saying that either team got the advantage, but just that there were so many bad calls with even more missed ones. Someone was (rightly) saying that Siakam was coasting, but the refs seemed like they thought this was their off-night. But the worst of all in this game was seeing how poorly can your reigning champion play. The Raps were crap. Actually crap with no effort. They were really mailing this one in.

Even if this might have been just an issue with motivation due to lack of anything resembling basketball skills in your opponent, I am a bit worried about the Raps. Since getting healthy from the last batch of injuries, they havent really played that well. Siakam is nowhere near an all-star level at the moment (he was all-star level pre-injury). The starting line-up is not playing well (maybe switch it Nurse?). The concentration, effort and urgency are not there. And until this game Nurse insisted on playing McCaw (still think McCaw has some video evidence on him or something) and other stupid line-ups, but refuses to bring in Boucher for energy.

I hope this is just a mid-season slump and we can get back to playing good basketball.

Only this fanbase would say we're in a slump when we are on a 6 game win streak while trying to integrate injured players back into the lineup.

That’s great analysis. You must be a scout. 🙄

I was looking for information on whether he was guarding more on the perimeter; whether he did a good job at boxing out his man or was just overpowered; other guys were just more aggressive at going for rebounds; and/or the Knicks made an incredible percentage of their shots with him on the court, so rebounding opportunities were limited.
