That drive by Freddy 1v1 where he got stripped that led to a three for the Blazers felt like the nail in the coffin. He pulls that out and we run our offense and I like our chances.

Oh well, on to the next one.

Sources on @TheAthleticNBA @WatchStadium: Raptors' Pascal Siakam is expected to be day-to-day after hard fall on his back tonight in Portland; no damage found in postgame tests. Siakam has emerged as a valuable player for Toronto.

Solid news.

I missed first three quarters as this game started at 4AM here. My kid woke me up in time for fourth quarter and I was seeing a Curry torch us and damn man, that is not a good thing to look at when you know you've just beaten a Curry and are barely awake to correctly process anything. And then I saw Evan Turner blow by Kawhi Leonard and at that point I thought it must be a bad dream.

Portland is both good and in need of a win given their recent slump. I don't mind the loss, their bench was really good and built one hell of a lead. A valiant effort to come back but given all the standard rotation guys out it is perfectly understandable. That ATO shit was a bit annoying as well as couple of traps I found unnecessary on the other end. But this seems like a bit of a schedule loss with travel fatigue settling in, 3rd game in 4 nights, probably had a bit of a party in California after the second win. All good.

Our schedule is gonna get better. We've played 31 games, 3 more than Celtics and Bucks, two more than Paces, one more than Sixers. Bucks had just 12 road games(6W-6L) while we had 16(12W-4L) so far so them being just a game behind in loss column is misleading. Got 4 more road games this month and 3 at home. Should be fine.

The key now is to get everyone healthy. No need to risk anything. Got a nice cushion and more rest days coming in January.

These games in Portland always turn out like this. Hard to believe they shot 58% from 3-land and lost. Just too many shots coming the other way. The bench and role players just killed us, and Lillard was so smooth and graceful. Hell of a game from Danny Green and Fred. The slow start from a rusty Kawhi ended up being too much of a hurdle to get over with all the shots they were giving up.

Loved when OG and Serge not only screened hip to hip like elevator doors, but moved together to set another screen. Fun.

Disappointed in Delon. He’s gotta do a lot more on a night like this with Lowry out.

The amount of lightly contested 2's they hit on us was what really got me agitated.  When Kawhi and Miles came alive in the 4th, that was fun, but there was just an overall vibe that we just weren't going to win this game. We need Jonas.. This next month should be real interesting.

Nah man. Had we had Lowry and had Siakam not gone down we would have had this in the bag. Jonas is important but not nearly as critical as Lowry. Moose can play his role for now.

energy wasn’t there. You could clearly see that in short bursts of plays Raptors are better but overall Blazers played harder and more aggressively.

We probably are going to loose in Denver. I would rest Siakam even if he feels ok to play. Coming 2-2 after these 4 games is not bad. Just need to rest and heal. Really important games are vs eastern conference rivals not the west.
