I wouldn't call miami awful, they're about the definition of an average team.

Oh please.  Compared to what we expect to do this year Miami is awful.

Think this was one of Nurse's better games. Team looked ready and focused and quite aware of what needs to be done. Starting McCaw was brilliant, Patrick was excellent but it also gave stability to Lin, Norm, OG. Having Gasol plus one of Siakam or Lowry with those three was really nice. Bench improving with more stable roles and enough playmakers is very welcome.

8 guys in double figures and an offense that just steamrolled the eighth best defense in the NBA makes for a quality win. I simply love seeing how Gasol is ready to make the pass before he even gets the ball. And Kyle constantly looking for the touchdown pass is very exciting. This team is gonna have teams on their heels. Pascal’s own court vision was on full display as well. How do you stop those three guys from carving teams up? And then add Kawhi to that. Ridiculous. OG is starting to look like a guy building on all the promise we saw last season. His defense today got my juices flowing.

"You could tell they prepared for us,'' Miami's Dwyane Wade said. "They prepared for our zone. They did things that teams normally don't do in the zone and they made shots out of it. So kudos to them for coming in with a great game plan and executing it.''
