OG has been great since the cavalry returned. His defence tonight was tremendous. Despite his upside, the Raptors should trade him to New Orleans for the ageing and defensive liability Redick and the oft-injury Moore.

that was so weird. I was in shock at him seemingly passing it when there was nobody there at the rim. And then...what?

Gasol looks amazing. That injury was a blessing in disguise. He need that month long rest and recovery more than I could have imagined.

Also, I'm a huge fan of the big line up so far. With FVV back, I'd bring him and Powell off the bench. That would be two super subs providing extra punch.

Would love to see this line up you propose.
I also like Powell starting at the 2 if we don't go with the big line-up and having FVV off the bench.  No matter what, I prefer FVV coming off the bench and not starting with 2 guards.  Someday in the future, maybe FVV starts and Lowry comes off the bench in an effort to reduce his minutes is another option.
For me starting Powell at the 2 makes the most sense ...

Nurse hinted after the game he may keep it, basically saying it's working for now so why change it.

Truth is, at full strength, we can play any lineup combination and still win games like these easily because of the sheer talent available.

What's a tremendous game! All around best win of the season. Offense clicking and defence locked in. No one to complain about.

I wouldn't call it the best win of the season. But it was a fun game

Told you guys, lowry gets mugged on calls in the nba. It's worse this season. The average player gets that call, let alone all stars. You can't breathe on harden without him going to the line for 3 shots.

Sounds like he may want to cycle through the top 7 guys in various starting looks.

One thing I wouldn't mind about keeping Ibaka starting at PF (hilarious how we are back there after all the talk about playing at C making him so much better) is getting Boucher some reps, even if only 10 MPG, in the backup C/PF role. Also love OG playing the 2.

I suspect we'll end up starting FVV at the 2 most games but that big lineup getting like 25% of the starts would give us a moderately frequent look at Boucher to keep him active.
