A day after Toronto Raptors star guard Kyle Lowry suffered acute back spasms after a hard fall against the Brooklyn Nets, it appears the injury isn’t as bad as it first seemed.

Lowry is listed as day-to-day with a bone bruise on his tailbone, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting.

I know e|t posted this already in the ramblings thread, but given the immense relief i felt this needed its own space [smile]

Tailbone injuries are extremely painful. Even if it's just a bruise, he will need some time to recover his mobility and be pain-free. Personally, I doubt he will be 100% for the big guns coming into town later this week. [frown]

Bruised tail bone is AT LEAST a week.

Kyle is going to have a hell of a time taking a crap and he's going to do a lot of sitting around on a doughnut to remove the stress from the tailbone.

God speed!

better to rest him too much than come back too early.

next 2 gonna be hard pressed to win at full strength. i know the fans are clamoring for a statement win but Lowrys health should be our number 1 priority moving forward.

I bruised my tailbone once 10 years ago , also playing basketball. It was a hell of a pain. Couldnt walk straight for next 10 minutes, fully healed in a week ir two.
