That would be a back-sliding move. If he is on the roster on opening night, I will not watch or participate in any Raptors related activity.

I hate back sliding.

Really? I'd watch this on this team....

It is not. It’s eFG%, so assuming most of those are threes, that’s still an ungodly 66% (as Jeff notes) in terms of FG%.

That's insane still, although it would depend how they define it (unguarded).

I thought the raptors as a team we're somewhere around 40% on open 3s last season?

His overall efg is insane and close enough to 99%, so why would you think that wide open shots would not veer towards that kind of mark? And why are you bringing up the Raptor’s shooting percentage to compare against efg%? Different things.

I added a thread for him in the player discussion section, with a piece from Blake Murphy.

They just made this official. I'm very intrigued with how he'll do in the NBA. Could be a JJ Redick clone.

What does everyone expect from this guy? Can he come in and have an impact as a shooter off the bench?

I'm hoping but not expecting he can be a regular part of our new bench mob since we need scoring. Expecting that he'll shoot well enough to at least come in for limited minutes and possibly in short clock situations where we need a 3pt sniper threat. Hoping he's good enough defensively to play against bench units and be in reasonable position to funnel his man into support coverage.

I think the thread has been pretty clear that we unanimously expect prime Ray Allen, at LEAST.
