This is the weirdest thing I've ever said on here.....but I think the Raptors win the next 2 games at home and then it's all about game 5. Norm seems to have confidence against Milwaukee and maybe he earned a little trust from Nurse. The "others" will play better at home, including Gasol and Green and the crowd will get them at least 1 game. The one thing ( well actually one of many things) is that we can not afford to go down big; we just don't have the firepower or pace to come back. Even when we were down big, we were taking more time off the shot clock than they were. I know Kawhi gets his, but he doesn't move the ball enough/quick enough to get shots up early in the shot clock, and trading shot clock eating 2's for 3's can't get you back into games.

Trust me, we win the next 2.

To dwchills credit, this was a post from the game thread for game 2.  But that thread sucked and that game is over, so I killed it.  And I love this post so much I wanted it to have it's own thread.  So this was me hijacking it.

But as a raps fan, this is awesome for me.  This is what I want to see in a playoff series.  Fans believing in their guys and coming together in a tough time as a fan base.

It may happen, and it may not, but it sure is a lot more fun to hope.

Fucking right dwchills.

Kawhi was really good finding open guys early. It did not look like two separate offenses. That was very nice to see. These guys are still figuring out how to best work together. It’d be nice if last night helped to get them making something of a jump in that respect. It feels like they are all physically starting to break down, but maybe that only helps to get them leaning on each other that much more. In any case, they’ve given us something we’ve never really been able to enjoy before - to get this far and battling against a strong team with a super elite talent on our side.

Was at the game tonight and when I saw us take that early hit with Giannis giving max effort, and we were still there, I knew the prophesy would be fulfilled. Like I said earlier, it's all about game 5. We take that.....it's a wrap. Now, let me get back to baking my cookies.

The sequence in q2 that ended with an emphatic jam by Serge to put us up 10 was huge...such infectious energy... they never looked back.
