People love Wall and Beal, and most would rank the pair over Lowry and DD. I'm not sure why given the Raps' duo have consistently produced better numbers by any metric. Then again, Wall and Beal have a lot more flash.

They're also much younger. And they have better stats this year. And they've had better stats in the playoffs. And they've destroyed demar/Lowry in their direct playoff matchup.

We brag so much about those two wins vs the cavs, imagine what we'd say about wall/Beal if we beat them as badly as they've beaten us.

They are saying on the broadcast now that Boston/Cavs are the teams to beat and that Washington might be that next team. Lmao!!

Yep, we made it alright.

Yeah, it took Doris Burke to say something. She always gives us some love.

What is John walls Playoff history?  as a player he's known for showing up and consistently being a big game performer.

It's perception/popularity and performances and flash/swagger, then stats. Unfortunately those are the media metrics.

I don't think Beal would get much attention without Wall.

Because she is super cool and should be doing games with Hubie. All games, all the time. Clone those two.

They're younger, but that's about it. Unless you're going by the traditional stats, Lowry's and DD's numbers are way higher. You might want to actually do some research before making statements.

In terms of playoffs, Wall had a very good playoff season last year. His other two were so-so. Beal's had good, but not great playoffs.

And finally, the Raptors as a team are better than the Wizards. My point was I don't understand the love affair with Washington, particularly treating Wall and Beal as if they were superstars. The Wizards have had less success in the playoffs than Toronto, including missing the post-season two years ago. If the Raptors had the same history, the media would be all over them. They definitely would not be saying they pose a legitimate challenge to Cleveland and Boston. Heck, they aren't even doing that now.

The real trick here is maintaining the narrative that Boston is legitimate by only talking about who is #3. Well guess what, Boston is not legitimate without Hayward and it is beginning to show and more of it will show as the season goes on. And even with Hayward I don't think they are clearly better than Raptors and that a series could go either way between two teams at full health.
