I've been hitting the gym pretty hard for the last year and doing lots of cardio, but myfitness pal has changed my life. lol

I never thought I'd be one of those annoying people scanning labels and portioning my food, but finally controlling my caloric intake has made a world of difference. I started using it at the beginning of Dec and have already dropped 20lbs.

Even quit smoking 2 and a half months ago and didn't gain a pound.

Dude, congratulations on quitting smoking...one of the hardest things to do!

Congrats dude!! Awesome to hear. I definitely did gain weight but I've been working on losing it. Lost a bunch doing a keto diet for a bit but got scared after I found some studies on it on its long term effects on the body. Shifting back to a normal calorie deficit diet Monday and I've been hitting the gym regardless.

Goal is fitness, not a look. Plan is to summit a 5000m+ mountain this summer (I'll be out west for a job).

Keep it up!

Anyone here cycle?

I bought a bike and I've been out riding 3x this week.

Nice bike, but the seat is not the least bit comfortable.

My ass feels like I've been sodomized by an elephant.

I'm open to suggestions. lol

I haven't driven a bike since high school. Lol

But from what i remember,  no bicycle seat ive sat on was ever that comfortable.  I can imagine how bad it would be now that I'm "older". 😒

I bought a bike a couple months ago to try and find some way to exercise now that I can't play hockey, which I usually do 3 times a week.

One of my main considerations was the seat.  I got one with some padding, because I have a boney ass.
